The event, planned as a classy dance concert reminiscent of Old San Juan's Casa de España events in the '70s and '80s, will feature three great acts, including Latin jazz vocalist, Jessy Díaz, who is coming back to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she's quickly gaining a loyal fan base (because of her amazing voice, talent, and stage presence), direct from Miami; the 12-piece big sound of East Bay favorites, Latin Rhythm Boys, regaling the salsa dancing audience with high-energy Puerto Rican music; and the Montuno Productions All-Stars Salsa Project, a special ensemble featuring several GRAMMY® award winning-musicians from Orq. Bembé led and directed by GRAMMY® award-winning percussionist, Christian Pepin. We’ll have special guest vocalist for the night Carlos Rosario, and radio personality, Luis Medina will be the show's DJ and MC.
And just like the last two concerts, what better place for an event like this than the majestic 7,500 square-foot, featuring a high gold leaf ceiling, a large stage with curtains and spotlights, and a sizable and smooth dance floor. Attendees will also be able to order Cuban food, catered by Yaqueline Y Su Sabor Cubano.
